Intermediate rock climbing course

Climbing up a vertical, smooth rock face, going beyond a hanging roof, passing through a narrow crack, climbing up a dihedral corner, progressing along a horizontal traverse: these are all common situations that any climber may have to face during a rock climbing expedition.

The Dolomiti SkiRock Mountain Guides provide climbers with the training necessary to head out on longer routes and progress on the different rock types and conditions that can be found along the path.

Information about the intermediate rock climbing course

The intermediate rock climbing course aims at taking climbers' skills and basic technique to the next level, to enable them to safely progress on any type and condition of terrain they may find during a climbing excursion. Through this course, climbers will learn the essential theory and technical skills needed to progress on multi-pitch routes.

The intermediate rock climbing course is held every day, from May to October, by a Dolomiti SkiRock Mountain Guide. It takes place on the beautiful dolomitic cliffs that surround Cortina d'Ampezzo, a perfectly suitable location that allows the participants to try all the different types of climbing terrain.
