The third and last edge of Tofana di Rozes goes up towards the summit for 700 metres, the climbing route on perfect rock is varied and never repetitive and goes along a series of cracks and dihedrals to reach a wide, gravelly ledge.
Almost at the end of the route, you will reach a large natural cave, a perfect place where to have a rest while enjoying the amazing view of the Ampezzo basin and Boite valley.
Then, the route goes on with a vertical, overhanging pitch on the left side of the cave. From there, you will climb up on solid, dark rocks with plenty of handolds, until you reach the summit.

Difficulty level: 4° and 5°.
Equipped with pitons.
Route length: 700 metres.
Duration time: approximately 6 hours.
Equipment needed: the usual mountaineering gear.
Back and forth trip to the climbing site: on foot, on easy trail.
