It is a quite popular route, thanks to the good quality of the rock and the perfect protections (cemented bolts all along route and at the belay points).
The route Via del Buco goes along a succession of slabs and cracks and ends up on two dihedrals that lead up to the summit. In order to avoid the 5° dihedrals, it is possible to ascend along an easier but rather unstable debris ledge on the left-hand side. It is possible to complete this ascent even when the weather is not perfect, at the very beginning and end of the season.
The descent is to be done on the Kaiserjäger trail, an interesting path that passes by a lot of former WWI military posts and includes a suspension bridge.

Difficulty level: 4°, 5° max (this pitch can be avoided).
The route is equipped with: cemented bolts.
Route length: 310 metres.
Ascent duration time: 3 hours.
Equipment needed: ordinary mountaineering gear.
