Ski mountaineering excursion on Forcella delle Bance, in the Val Popena

The path of this amazing ski mountaineering excursion, which we have completed with Bea and Filippo, stretches out in a wonderful natural environment, so unspoilt that it can be described as wild.

The itinerary goes along the Popena valley and ascends the very steep and technically demanding rill going up to the saddle Forcella delle Bance (it is necessary to be equipped with ice axe and crampons), where the elevation is 2705 metres.

The final off-piste skiing descent along the Val Delle Bance valley was highly enjoyable: the slope, which is over 1200 metre long, was covered with powder snow, which made it the ideal spot for an unforgettable skiing experience.
