Contact usThe amazing, sunny day with ideal snow conditions was perfect to ascend Tofana di Rozes.
With a group of experienced mountaineers, we left Bus di Tofana to reach the old mountain hut Rifugio Cantore. From there, we climbed up towards the summit of Tofana di Rozes with our ski skins. Almost on top of the peak, we swapped the ski skins for the crampons and proceeded to reach the cross on the summit, where the amazing view of the Dolomites made up for the struggle of the ascent.
We used a rope as climbing protection to safely descend a vertical rock face, then we completed our descent skiing down the amazing gully on the East face of the peak, with the little town of Cortina on the background.
